Licenses

Quebec Fishing Licenses are available for sale at the clubhouse.  For easier processing please have a driver’s licence handy. The ZEC licence and the ZEC entry permit which also includes the fish reporting form may be obtained on line at the ZEC Restigo PAV website noted above, or at the ZEC office or at Pronature in Temiscaming  All fishers are required to carry a valid fishing license and ZEC licence and ZEC entry permit.  There is no exception.  If by chance you lose your fishing license (or it gets destroyed) you will need to be issued and charged for a new one.    We confirm that ZEC enforcement officers frequently patrol the waters around the club asking fishers to produce their licenses. It is mandatory to return the fish report to the ZEC office at the end of your trip. If by chance you forget the ZEC will accept a report by phone call. The fine for failure to report is $400. For members that fly to the club the ZEC has agreed that the reports may be left at the club on departure and submitted by the club manager on the next trip to town. The ZEC also accepts phone calls to close a report.

Useful Tip:  Keep your Fishing License and ZEC permit in a zip-loc plastic bag or similar waterproof pouch.  The licenses are printed on paper and can deteriorate or become less legible under wet conditions.  Waterproof pouches available at the clubhouse.
